Hay premios para todos. Este año aquéllos que fueron nominados a un Oscar y no salieron triunfantes no se fueron con las manos vacías, pues la Academia les dio como premio de consolación un paquete de regalos con un valor de 45 mil dólares. Pero para los que están muy lejos de la nominación, existen los Razzies, que premian lo peor del cine, y cuya ceremonia se realiza cada año un día antes de la entrega de los Premios de la Academia.

El año pasado Adam Sandler arrasó en la entrega al ser elegido en cada una de las categorías –incluyendo la de Peor Actriz– por su película Jack and Jill (2011). Este año la favorita de la ceremonia fue sin duda Amanecer Parte 2, que tuvo once nominaciones (dos en una misma categoría) y se llevó siete premios, entre los cuales se encuentra el de Peor Película, Peor Actriz (Kristen Stewart) y Peor Director (Bill Condon). Como ya es costumbre, Adam Sandler no se fue con las manos vacías, pues su película That’s my Boy (2012) le otorgó el Premio a Peor Actor y Peor Guión.
