Graduada de la Rhode Island School of Design con una licenciatura en diseño gráfico, la artista neoyorkina Alice X. Zhang se ha influenciado de la literatura, la televisión y principalmente del cine para crear su trabajo.

Ilustraciones de cintas como Lost In Translation (Sofia Coppola, 2003), Slumdog Millionaire (Danny Boyle, 2008) o Blade Runner (Ridley Scott, 1982) forman parte de su colorido portafolio, el cual le ha permitido exponer en reconocidas galerías estadounidenses. También cuenta con un sitio web en el que comparte parte de su trabajo y algunas piezas a la venta.
