Parece que cada año una nueva generación de cineastas hace sus películas debut, y la mayoría de ellas tratan de historias de aprendizaje y madurez. Sin embargo, sólo un porcentaje tristemente bajo es de filmes buenos. Por lo anterior, aprovechamos la oportunidad para ofrecer nuestras 50 películas favoritas para adolescentes de todos los tiempos. Por supuesto, siendo nosotros, nuestras selecciones no son todas dulces: mientras que muchas son comedias alegres, bastantes son dramas y melodramas que representan el lado más oscuro de la vida adolescente, así como sus confusiones románticas. Tratamos de evitar las películas cuyos estilos resultan ser más directamente de otros géneros, como el terror (una categoría mayoritariamente poblada de adolescentes en peligro) o la ciencia ficción.
